Chinese Wushu is known for its explosive movements and high demand for flexibility. In order to achieve the athleticism required to become a proper Wushu athlete, a strict stretching regimen must be followed. With a stretching class, I will personally guide you to attain a better range of motion to improve your overall health and flexibility. The main groups to be strechted are as follows:

  • Legs

  • Back

  • Arms

When your tendons are an inch longer, that your lifespan will be extended by ten years.

Exaggerations aside, achieving full Wushu flexibility is a daunting task, especially for men, and increases with difficulty with age.

This means that attaining Wushu flexibility is a true test of willpower and drive. Stretching and flexibility training is an excellent way to train your discipline, and therefore, is an excellent way to hone your consistency in achieving your goals.

As always, the benefits of achieving flexibility far exceed merely the physical benefits.
